Both images were filmed behind bars to express the idea of confinement (and never leaving). In this scene we have the teacher getting trapped and locked in the classroom by the killer.
To create more of a dramatic effect we used the red coloured gel to express the themes of horror.
When filming the shots became closer and closer, this was so that the viewer had a sense of feel of confinement .
