Masthead Planning
Typography
Chose the masthead 'LED' with the tagline because it spoke out to the audience more, as it had that ghostlike idea to it.
Having the 'U' stand out had no meaning or story behind it although the red suggested hatred and blood
'Gradu8' had an informal text form grammar in which we thought fit in with our target audience .

Filming session
Both images were filmed behind bars to express the idea of confinement (and never leaving). In this scene we have the teacher getting trapped and locked in the classroom by the killer.
To create more of a dramatic effect we used the red coloured gel to express the themes of horror.

Film's Cool
From The Film's Cool session I attended I leant a lot of useful tips From Ross and Alec that I am going to take on in order to make my production work successful. Such as;
- Using light more effectively with different coloured gels
- Show a scene of different camera angels to get more than one perspective and view to engage the audience.
Film's Cool Session 5
Ross Curren and Alec
In this session we had two professional editors come in. My group and I got great useful feedback and tips in order to improve parts of our trailer as well as to lift the production value of our trailer .This was to recreate certain shots to make them sharp and more tight. We asked both Ross Curren and Alec questions about our trailer, on how we can emphasise and exaggerate some of the footage with our graduation theme.
For instance our party scene: We wanted to make it look more bold in terms of it being bigger. Alec suggested us getting more people in the shot and to have one of the characters holding the camera to give it that hand held effect.

Production Schedule
In our schedule we added a note to record a shot of characters where we see more from them establishing the characters more. Also to record the assembly scene, of students getting certificates so the theme of graduation is identified.

Day 1 - Filming
Evaluation of Filming Day 1
The process of my groups first filming task went really well, we were able to work together as a team to complete the first section of our plan. I was able to suggest new points that were added on to previous ideas from a member of the group to build it and make it stronger.
In this shot I suggested adding this prop would make Blessing come across as 'Demonic' to make it seem as a symbolic iconography that appeared regularly.
Positives and Negatives:
- Had a problem with natural lighting as it changed going dark at times in which we had to redo the shot to match the lighting.
+ Time keeping skills were on track as we were able to keep to our schedule.
Planning for the production
In todays lesson we added all three scripts together highlighting specific props characters sets, setting and locations to develop each section further. This notified us on what we need to include to make the script flow smoothly.
We also looked for individuals who we thought were right for the role and people we know to play a specific role/character. Due to the fact that I imagined our character Blessing to be quite tall, we thought our friend Dolapo was the right person also because she has experience in A level drama and make up effects would show clearly on her skin.
Furthermore we planned a schedule as a group to keep us up to date, knowing what section of the script we were shooting daily at what time and where this was going to be done.
